Daily care at home
We’ll all get older and most of us will need an extra helping hand. For some, family may not be nearby to offer that support. Our daily home care service provides regular visits of at least an hour, at the exact times of day you need help, however many times you need.
Our daily care services offer support to those who require an extra help at certain points throughout the day – i.e. getting out of bed, personal cleanliness, food preparation, help with the housework; or assistance in the evening and getting ready for bed.
Or visits can be set to a strict rota suited to your needs as easily as can be provided a more flexible basis. Care can be provided for 2 hours, twice a week, or visit numerous times every day – no matter your requirements and needs we can accommodate any care plans to support your lifestyle and offer honest and reliable care.
Our carers are all specifically handpicked for their specialist expertise and training. Many of our carers have specialist experience in a broad range of conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, MS, Parkinson’s and looking after those who have been in hospital after a fall or stroke.
Our rota-based home care services
We’re very proud of the unique ‘Rosy Rota’ system we’ve taken years to establish. All of our experienced carers will be specifically assigned to your loved one and will work on a rota basis, to establish a personal relationship and allow you to get the best from the care plan.
Why choose daily home care?
Daily home care enables the elderly and infirm continue living independently in their own home, with regular visits from a carer as and when required. Our carers are there to help with personal care, attending appointments or events, cook your favourite meals, help with housekeeping, and most importantly company and companionship.
All our clients are looked after at times that suit them best, and we pride ourselves on the reliability of our service: if you need us there for an exact time – we will be there at that time. If you need to change your schedule to a different day or time, we can accommodate that too.
As we are an independent agency, we are able to offer an unparalleled level of flexibility and choice.
We take great care in matching the right carers with our clients so that your loved ones receive the exact care, understanding and support that they need.
Making the change
We understand that deciding on the right care for your loved ones is difficult for many reasons, and we are here to help. We have been working with families for over forty-eight years and have kept many people cared for and safe at home when life has become more challenging due to illness, injury, or just the effects of old age.
We know that discussing care with your loved ones is a sensitive issue: we will discuss your options, provide advice, and meet with you and your loved ones to get to know you and your needs – both physically and emotionally. As your needs change, we can adapt.
This lady is 90 years old and until a few weeks ago was very independent. She only needed help with cleaning and shopping. She suddenly deteriorated after Christmas and spent some time in hospital with a nasty chest infection. After a spell convalescing in a local hospital she was determined to return to her home and her beloved dog. When I visited her she was very frail but still retained a great sense of humour. She was desperate to come home and after liaising with the staff at the hospital she has now returned to her home. Because she is weak she needs a kind and caring live in carer who can perk her up and get her eating properly again. So that she is not left alone, daily carers come every day to give the carer their break. It is very satisfying when you know you can make a difference to somebody else’s life.
Your safety and peace of mind are paramount
All our Bunbury Carers are thoroughly checked in line with the UKHCA Code of Practice and have current DBS certification. They have the experience, knowledge and qualifications to look after vulnerable adults, maintaining the dignity and respect of the client.
Depending on the carer’s abilities and qualifications, they can provide various levels of personal care, administer medication and assist with moving and handling. They will assist with housekeeping, prepare and maintain a well balanced diet and provide companionship and support to meet all of your requirements.
When recruiting we perform a thorough procedure of checks and the carers must provide:
- Full details of their work experience or CV.
- Copies of all their qualifications.
- At least two references from recent employers.
- Two forms of identification.
- A Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure (Police Check).
All references are meticulously checked and verified by us over the telephone with previous Employers. This allows us to ask further questions and gain more in-depth knowledge of the carer. The carer is then interviewed by us to ensure they are suitable for our clients.
We are a home care agency based in Llanfaelog, Anglesey helping families predominantly on the island of Anglesey and North Wales, although we are nationwide.
